With a surface of 14.000 m2, the winery is located in the heart of the city of Montilla. The winery has 8.000 barrels (called “botas” in Spanish) situated at the most appropriate places for the aging of the wines. There are also several recent facilities dedicated to the wine-making and aging processes. The most outstanding place is our subterranean aging cellar “El Sotano” (“the Basement”); it’s an example of superior architecture, unique in Montilla-Moriles area. |
Within our facilities, you will find Destilerías La Cordobesa. Distillation is still developed under traditional processes in the original copper stills, which date from the early XX Century. |
