WINERY CREATIONS
Vermouth from Montilla and Own Cellar Creations
Artisan vermouth, sweet wines and wine-based aromatised drinks, made in our Montilla winery since 1902.
Our Selection of Vermouth and Cellar Creations
Our cellar creations are Cruz Conde's own products: drinks that draw on the winery's experience with the Pedro Ximénez grape, but fall outside the rules of a designation of origin. That freedom allows us to create artisan vermouth, traditional sweet wines and aromatised drinks with distinctive flavours.

Vermouth from Montilla and Cruz Conde Creations
In our winery in Montilla, in the heart of the Córdoba countryside, we don't only produce wines with a designation of origin. We also create our own drinks, blending the winemaking tradition of the area with herbs, spices and aromas. The result is a range with its own character, perfect for an aperitif, after dinner or with ice on a warm day.
Our Cellar Creations
Vermouth
A wine aromatised through a complex maceration of herbs and spices, in which gentian stands out. Intense and aromatic, smooth and velvety on the palate, with a long finish.
Aromatised Drinks
Made from wine infused with aromas, they are lighter and milder than vermouth, with an alcohol content of around 12–13% vol. Easy to drink and highly versatile.
Cellar Sweet Wines
Sweet drinks with an intense mahogany colour, smooth and delicate, made from the winery's wines. Perfect with nuts and pastries.
With a Citrus Touch
Pedro Ximénez grape wines aromatised with orange: velvety, smooth and fruity, ideal served chilled or with ice as an aperitif.

FAQs
What's the difference between an aromatised wine and a wine-based aromatised drink?
They are two categories regulated by Regulation (EU) Nº. 251/2014. Vermouth is an aromatised wine, with a higher alcohol content and a more intense flavour. Wine-based aromatised drinks, such as Dulce Matipe or Naranja Cruz Conde, are milder and lighter.
How should vermouth be served?
The classic way is to serve it neat over ice with a slice of orange, as an aperitif. It is also the base for many classic cocktails.
Do the cellar creations have a designation of origin?
These are considered the winery's own creations. However, they draw on the same expertise and know-how with the Pedro Ximénez grape as our Montilla-Moriles wines.
